Spa Consumer Income and Repurchase Intention

The popularity of spas reached its peak in the late 1980s, and it has continued since then. Spas have grown in popularity and are perceived as an essential luxury. Consumer income is a key factor influencing spa treatment. In this study, the relationship between spa consumers’ income and their repurchase intention was examined and clarified. After the collection and analysis of 351 questionnaire responses, the results indicated that the income of spa consumers was negatively associated with their repurchase intention. The study offers suggestions for spa operators to focus more on the social needs of high-end consumers and consider consumer perspectives to create exclusive personal spa services for consumers.
