The IJPM aims to publish the advancement of knowledge papers in several fields, the refereed articles covering both theoretical and applied aspects of performance measurement and its application. We consider about how to establish the Performance Measurement and its application in economics, education, engineering, finance, information technology, marketing, management, operation research, public affairs and all kind of subjects that involve the Performance Measurement.

Performance measurement is a multidisciplinary theory gathering the strength of those researches which were interested in utilizing different research techniques to investigate the related performance measurement areas.

The journal covers different topics which include variable aspects in multidisciplinary field, such as economics, education, engineering, finance, information technology, marketing, management, operation research, public affairs, and other kind of issues which discuss about the performance measurement. The Journal was supposed to be established as an authoritative journal, which publish the high quality articles from people all over the world who are interested in the research of performance measurement.

Contents & Coverage:

The IJPM is an international journal that publishes original and review papers, research analysis, technical reports, case study, literature reviews and inquiry into issues of importance to the business community. Articles in IJPM are to broaden the knowledge of management field and provide valuable.

This journal solicits these issues of paper from empirical and academic point of view, which should include (but not limit to) the following topics of Performance Measurement:

Submission of Papers:

The IJPM guidelines http://performancesforum.org/author_guidelines.html must be followed when submitting a manuscript to be reviewed for publication in the IJPM. The manuscripts should be submitted as e-mail attachment to the editorial office at theijpm@gmail.com and shihsteve@faculty.pccu.edu.tw with double-spaced throughout and a brief biosketch, 1-10 keywords and an abstract of approximately 50-100 words. "Perforamcne Measurement" must be included as a keyword. Manuscripts could be original and review papers, research analysis, technical reports, case study, literature reviews and inquiry into issues of importance to the business community. All manuscripts are reviewed by members of the Editorial Board or qualified outside reviewers. We do not process any submission that does not comply with IJPM guidelines.

 

The International Journal of Performance Measurement (IJPM) is the official publication of the Academy of Performance Measurement published on a quarterly basis. The Journal is a refereed publication containing articles related to Performance Measurement research including innovative and advanced knowledge. Listed below are the guidelines that must be followed when submitting a manuscript to be reviewed for publication in the Journal.

1. Manuscripts must be word processed and electronically submitted as a
Worddocument attached to an e-mail to Editor-in-Chief Professor Steve Kuang-Hsun Shih at theijpm@gmail.com, and shihsteve@faculty.pccu.edu.tw. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted.

2. Articles should be approximately 20-25 pages. A maximum word count of the entire manuscript (including tables and references) must not exceed 8,000 words, and all paper submissions must adhere to this.

3. All manuscripts should be formatted as double-spaced, in a 12-point font with one-inch margins.

4. The first page of the manuscript should contain only the following information: title, name and institutional affiliation of the author(s), address, phone number, fax number, and an e-mail address for each author. An asterisk should be placed next to the name of the corresponding author. The length of the manuscript title must not exceed eight words.

5. The second page should contain the title, an abstract of not more than 200 words, a set of keywords (not more than 5) to serve as indicators on the paper's contents, and the beginning of the article. "Performance Measurement" must be included as a keyword. Do not include the author's name on this page.

6. Center primary headings in all caps. Place secondary headings at the left margin.

7. Tables and figures must be prepared and captioned exactly as they are to appear in the Journal and numbered consecutively in the text.

8. References must be complete and listed alphabetically at the end of the text according to the first author's last name.

Journal references must follow the format:


[1] Author's last name, intitials. "title," journal name (italicized) volume: issue (enclosed in parentheses), year, page number(s).

Book references must follow the format:
[1] Author's last name, initials. book title (italicized), publisher, city, state, year, page numbers(s).

Conference proceedings must follow the format:
[1] Author's last name, initials. "title," name of proceedings, conference city, state: conference date, page number(s).

Note: Manuscripts are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. Those suitable for further review are forwarded to members of the review board. This process takes approximately six to eight weeks. The IJPM does not process any submission that does not comply with all requirements of submission guidelines. Contributors of articles accepted for publication will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which their article appears.
